 Post subject: NR Remote Access Chrome app not functioning in Win 8.1

I am using the latest NR free software on Windows Home Server 2011 (Windows Server 2008 R2) and NeoRouter Remote Access Client Free 2.1.1.4300 Chrome extension and everything is working when I am using a Windows 7 laptop running Chrome to access the server using RDP.

However, when I switched to a Windows 8.1 laptop, I would either get a blank screen (the Winodws Logon screen did not render) or the desktop screen (if a previous remote desktop session was already active). In either case, however, the mouse was frozen and no keystrokes could be sent.

Please help

Hi Patrick,

What's your Chrome version on win8.1? can you try the lower resolution? can you try the NR Web Client in IE?

If you can provide more clues, we will help you out.
