Is it possible to change how often Neorouter checks for updates. It's weekly now but i want to be able to change it to never.

Also i have noticed that when using the portable client noone else can can add it to their computerlist for some reason.

It's correct. The portable versions designed for users to use at the public places. It's traded as a temporary computer and cannot be seen in the computer list. But from the Configuration Explorer, you can manage it.

I'm afraid you cannot change the update check frequency so far. It's fixed.

Yes. No.

There are two notifications when a new version is released.

1. When the Network Explorer starts, it will check the latest version.

2. When the Network Explorer starts, it will also run the updater scheduler on the background (it's not start automatically). The updater scheduler will check the latest version periodically (once a week).

If it found a new version, it will show a balloon tip on the tray bar. Once you click on it, you can decide download it or cancel. If you choose download the latest version, it will download it and notify you by another balloon tip when the install package is done. Then you can decide install or not. If you choose install, it will upgrade your current version automatically.
