Help! Can't get NR to install on Small Business Server 2008 (SBS2008). The problem is that the driver is not digitally signed and SBS2008 will not allow it to load. I know you can reboot and disable driver signing, but that defeats the purpose of NR, as I'd have to be physically present whenever I had to restart the server (after updates, etc.).

Any plans on fixing this? Without this functionality I can't really use NR and would really love to!

Which version of NR do you install on the SBS2008? From NeoRouter v0.9.8, the driver has been officially code signed on Vista+ OS, including Windows server 2008. If you are using old version, please upgrade to the latest.

I'm getting Code 31 error:

Can't seem to get it to uninstall - tried uninstalling from Control panel, but it did not remove completely:



Also can't remove from Device Manager, the uninstall devices dialog just keeps spinning its wheels:



Any ideas?

It looks the NeoRouter was not installed properly on your computer for some reason. We will investigate it.

To uninstall it, you can try the following steps.

0. It's better to restart your computer first and log on as an account with admin permission

1. uninstall the driver manually
> cd C:\Program Files\ZebraNetworkSystems\NeoRouter\Driver\
if it's Win2008 x64, should go to the x86 folder
> tapinstall.exe remove nrtap

2. uninstall the nrservice manually
a. kill the nrservice.exe process manually from the Task Manager
b. > cd C:\Program Files\ZebraNetworkSystems\NeoRouter
> nrservice.exe /stop
> nrservice.exe /remove

3. if you installed the NR server, uninstall it manually
a. kill the nrserver.exe process manually from the Task Manager
b. > cd C:\Program Files\ZebraNetworkSystems\NeoRouter
> nrserver.exe /stop
> nrserver.exe /remove

4. remove all the files under C:\Program Files\ZebraNetworkSystems
(before this step, you can try to uninstall it by running Uninstall.exe)

Manual removal worked, NeoRouter is gone

Let me know what to try next.

PS - Installed it on an SBS2003 Server (32bit) with no problems. The 64bit seems to be the issue.

Nothing in Event Viewer, etc. that would offer any clues as to what went wrong.
If I find any clues I'll advise.

Any ideas what to try? Should I just keep trying a regular install? Are there any other installation methods that might help?
