I recently replaced Hamachi on my computers by NeoRouter, due to its increasingly important restrictions for the users, and I'm really satisfied with it. But, because there is always a "but", whenever I try to set up lan games with it, I'm unable to see the host game on a server list, regardless of the game used while joining the said game by direct IP connect is possible. This is a problem I've already faced with Hamachi and I used a little console program called "Hamachi broadcast fix" which itself relies on WinPcap. This same program works fine with NeoRouter, but it makes me wonder: what kind of issue does it fix? Is this problem inherent to VPN? Is it NAT related? And can't it work "out of the box"?
