Hi, I have a dual boot system running both Mac OS X 10.9.5 and Windows.
From the Windows side.. all is fine. When connecting from the Mac, it looks as though I am connected to the server. I see that it shows that server is "online"(It is a PC Laptop we are using to store shared files)
But when I click on the icon for files/folders, it tries to connect, but ends up returning an error message "Server not found."
Any ideas?

Hi shaufler,

Can you try to ping it? If ping works, the VPN tunnel is ready and the problem must be related to the service on the server. For example, when you try to open a shared folder on the server from NR client, the samba/cifs service must be running on the server so that your mac can see it.
