I cloned one Raspberry pi to another by using CloneZilla to make an image of the SD card.

Worked a little too well. It cloned the NR config and "host name".

I uses raspi-config to update the host name on the clone. Then I used the procedure here:

http://www.neorouter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5493

To update the NR config.

But as soon as I connected, it changed the original Pi's device name to match this one. And bumped it offline.

So how do I change it back?

Do I just need to reboot the original PI so it can re-connect?

Or do I need to re-configure it too?

The original was assigned ip 10.10.0.2, and the clone was given 10.10.0.5.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

I'm getting really good at answering my own question. I just don't understand why I can't think of the answer BEFORE I post?

In this case, I just had to cycle power to my original PI. After it booted it had its own name back, and was available on the network.

I think the "real" solution is to WIPE the NR config file BEFORE you make an image of the SD card. Then so long as you change the Host Name before you configure NR client it will work and not disturb any earlier devices.

Regards,
Rich.
