Previously, i'm non native english speaker, so forgive me.

I have problem with p2p mode on neorouter free. I have VPS on digitalocean(ubuntu 14.04), and early(6-7 month ago) i alreadi install neorouter to it. And it's works fine. Then i remove it(don't need it that time).
Month ago i again install neorouter on server, but ping always stay on 245+ms.
I do same thing like previous instalation, and same VPS. Ping to server ~60-100ms(from different users, and ISP), but ping from user to user always more than 240.
I think neorouter always work as relay server, and not route p2p connection, but why ?

Hi Corwin,

It seems like in relay mode. Usually it depends on the network environment. Technically peers can always establish P2P connection unless both of them are behind Symmetric NAT. Also double NAT, very restrict firewall settings may make it harder to work.

Thanks,

Ok, but why? early all works well(i have users from ukrain, kazakhstan, and russia), all have ping above 50-60ms on p2p connection. Why we can't estabilish p2p now? We have different providers, but nobody have firewall(uninstall firewall for some users, and nothing change).
I thing i'ts low CPU, but i upgrade CPU for VPS and it have 2.6Ghz(2Core) and 1Gb ram. I think it's enought.

Hi Corwin,

If you can get the log file of the nrservice, we can help you to investigate it. Stop the NR client service on a machine, enable logging, start the service, ping a remote machine using virtual IP, keep ping for 2 minutes. Send the log file to us.

Thanks,
