I was at a location where I have access to a 'Guest' wireless connection. While on this wireless connection, my NeoRouter Free client would not connect to my Neorouter server. However, when I switched over to my 4G mobile network connection, the NeoRouter Free client connects fine. Can a firewall be setup to block outgoing VPN connections? |

Hi Undrhil, Technically yes, they can setup firewall rules to block outgoing connection to either the IP of your NR server or port or IP+port. However, most companies would not block outgoing connections to webs site, i.e. 80/tcp and 443/tcp. So try to change the listen port of NR server to 443 if you use the default port (which is 32976) Thanks, KevinZ - Neorouter team |
