installer not working. Downloaded to 2 computers and it took 6 series of double clicks to get installer to start. No luck on other computer. Nothing shows up in taskmanager. both machines running xpsp2. shut of all firewalls and virus protections and nothing. anyone else having this problem??

You may want to use an Windows user account with "administrator" permissionsto to install NeoRouter Standard Edition.

From your description, it is more like you install it using a "Limited User".

I am thinking about downloading and using your product. As I understand it, your product can either set up VNC or VPN connection from a remote computer to a host computer. This is what I want to be able to do, remote in and take control of a computer on my home network.

VNC is one of the built in Add-ons and you can use it to connect to any device that's included on the NeoRouter VPN which don't have to be within your local LAN they could be in a totally different location. I.e you could assist a family member if you added them to the NR Server and they join the network using the NR client.

There are more Add-ons here which includes VNC versions with VNC servers not just viewers, which can come in handy.
