It's a brand new machine that came with 1809 (17763.55) pre-installed.
It is possible to disable driver checking during boot but this machine is remote from where I am so I can't try that.
I actually can't remember whether it asked me to trust the driver on first install as I was going so fast. Certainly when I uninstall and re-install neorouter now it doesn't ask.
I found this from a quick browse:
Quote:
Note: Starting with Windows 10, version 1607, Windows will not load any new kernel mode drivers which are not signed by the Dev Portal.
Cross-signed drivers are still permitted if any of the following are true:
The PC was upgraded from an earlier release of Windows to Windows 10, version 1607.
Secure Boot is off in the BIOS.
Drivers was signed with an end-entity certificate issued prior to July 29th 2015 that chains to a supported cross-signed CA.
My guess is that NeoRouter might need to tweak their driver to get latest windows to accept it. Time to wait and see what the support guys say...
