If the connection stops on my xp machine I sign out and sign back in again and it works. With W2k DOS CLI I can only close the dos terminal and run the CLI again, but I do not connect.
Its as if the client has not signed out, Is there a CLI command that I can use to sign out, or do you think the problem is something else?

Happy for any suggestions.

When you close CLI or CLI process gets killed, even do not sign out explicitly, it will sign out automatically. Unlike Network Explorer, CLI does not check the nrservice. So if nrservice is stopped, please start it manually from the services.msc.

Thanks for the reply
I have manually stopped and started the NRService on the client.
manually started the cli and entered the domain, user and password.
The cli just sits at "Connecting to NeoRouter Client Service."
Thanks again.

Hi cjtech,

I know what you mean now. It is by design. If multiple CLI or Network Explorer run in the same time, the first one will hold the connection and others won’t be able to connect to the nrservice.

We may improve it later.

Thanks,

I found adding the following to login.bat works for me with the windows 2000 client. Hope it helps some else.
------------------------------------------------------------------
net stop NRClientService
net start NRClientService

cd \
cd "C:\Program Files\ZebraNetworkSystems\NeoRouter\"
NRClientCmd.exe -d 60.123.456.789 -u w2k-user -p w2k-pass
pause
-------------------------------------------------------------------

-d "domain ip address"
-u "username"
-p "Password"
