Dear helpful souls: I have tried both the portable and non portable version of client software. The portable version can get me remote desktop access from the following 2 test computers: Windows 7 Home premium pc Windows XP Pro pc But the non portable version cannot , from the Windows 7 Home premium pc. No problem using portable version accessing from Windows XP Pro pc, though. RDP related firewall setting on the remote Windows Vista computer are fine. Tested for successful RDP access from the 2 test computers mentioned above. I can sign in successfully into NeoRouter server and client with public IP , port or domain name. So hairpin does not seem to be the issue here, according to user manual chart "7.1.1 Troubleshooting steps" The Neorouter settings are fine, according to http://www.neorouter.com/checkport.php I am out of ideas on how to fix this.
