Initial set up, Dashboard Report "Port Closed"

Post subject:  Initial set up, Dashboard Report "Port Closed"

:twisted: Open the port on windows xp pro SP3. IN THE ROUTER forwarder the port to the server computer; no client installed there. still got not connection. Confusing instructions about names getting error 0x8007274c. Is that a windows error code or Neorouter code?. The Dashboard report the port is closed. :o I'm advising some small and medium size businesses about VPN, But if the free does not work, will not trust the pay for one. Really hard to set up. They are looking to use several platforms as required for contractors field work. what is wrong with my set up?
