Hello everybody. we have tried to create a NeoRouter network using Windows Virtual Machines running under VMWare. Set-up A) If we set up 1) a Neorouter Client running in a VIRTUAL Windows machine (VMWare) (computer A) 2) a Neorouter Server running in a REAL Windows machine (computer B) all work perfectly. Set-up B) If we set up 1) a Neorouter Client running in a REAL Windows machine (computer B) 2) a Neorouter Server running in a VIRTUAL Windows Machine (VMWare) (computer A) the Neorouter Server is not able to find the Client. The port 32976 is open and correctly forwarded in both cases. Searching on-line I have found that NeoRouter Client have been successfully used inside VMWare and VirtualBox. But I was not able to find the description of a similar successful experience with Neorouter Server. Q1) Is there anything I can change in set-up B) to have Neorouter Server work in a virtual machine? Q2)Is it possible at all to run NeoRouter Server in a virtual Windows machine (VMWare or otherwise)? Thanks in advance |
