I've been trying to VLAN with a friend on MC for a few weeks now, and I haven't been able to get it working. - I have the domain set up, we can both connect to it, and we both have - Both of our routers have port forwarding set up for NR @ 32976 and MC @ 25565, both with TCP/UDP - He is running Win7 and I am running Win8 - Just today, I set up both our computers to prioritize NR I don't think I'm missing anything we set up, but I'll update if I find that's the case. We have both tried opening up our games to LAN, with multiple versions of MC and via the vanilla launcher and the Tekkit launcher. His side always times out trying to connect, and mine always refuses the connection immediately. Why would we be able to see each other just fine in NR, have our ports forwarded, have our NR adapters prioritized, and yet not be able to join each other's games? |
