how to wake on lan in linux,I´m using a turnkey distro and i´d like to use neorouter for vpn acess with port forwarding, it works but i´m having this problem, must of time when i´m trying to acess do my linux with my windows pc, it says offline and the only possibility is wake on lan, but it doesn´t work, it is possible to make wake on lan with neorouter with linuxturnkey distro? regards |

Hi cesarf, If your linux box was working with NeoRouter but it fall in sleep itself, you can use the wake-on-lan button to wake it up from any other box running NeoRouter. Of cause your WOL must be enabled, including both hardware setting and OS settings. Different linux distributions may have various tools to set WOL.
