Hi morbidwar,

We have a plan for the GUI for Mac and Linux, but it may take some time and it has a low priority in our schedule so far, unless more users request for it.

Thanks,

Hi,
I'm a mac user and would like to have a client. I know nothing about the terminal, and i use voiceover, so not sure how the terminal access is.
Therefore, I'd like to vote for a gui. I was lead to believe that the mac version already had one.

Hi ISeeZip,

We will provide the GUI for Mac in the future. I know the CLI is not as beautiful as GUI, but it is all functional. In your case, you just need to register your Mac computer once, then forget it. Once your Mac is joined the virtual LAN, you can access other computers using the virtual IP, even without the UI.

Check out the Mac CLI : http://neorouter.wordpress.com/

Thanks,

Hello. I'm new to NeoRouter and like what I see. However I would like to see a GUI for Linux. Also how can I make it so that the nrclientcmd runs in the background?

I have been using the CLI for Linux. However I was looking for something more userfriendly where I can add groups and move the computers around. Also I do not know if the nrclient is running unless I have run the nrclientcmd, which makes it hard if I want to use the linux machine for something else for example.

Here's a GUI for Linux that uses wxPython : http://nrclientx.wordpress.com/

You can download it here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/nrclientx/files/

I haven't tried it yet but plan to install it on my Ubuntu 10.10 system.
