+1 from me. Atheros is a very popular platform and there are many builds of it. My router is a Netgear WNDR3700 with 4 gigeth ports and 802.11n at 2,4 and 5ghz simultaneous. I don't intend to change this router anytime soon. I wanted to return to neorouter (since kamikaze builds are available), but got stuck in installing it. Therefore I had to stay with openvpn. Here's my info: root@router:~# uname -a Linux router 2.6.32.25 #1 Fri Nov 19 20:27:50 PST 2010 mips GNU/Linux root@router:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo system type : Atheros AR7161 rev 2 machine : NETGEAR WNDR3700 processor : 0 cpu model : MIPS 24Kc V7.4 BogoMIPS : 452.19 wait instruction : yes microsecond timers : yes tlb_entries : 16 extra interrupt vector : yes hardware watchpoint : yes, count: 4, address/irw mask: [0x0000, 0x0f60, 0x0cd8, 0x0ef0] ASEs implemented : mips16 shadow register sets : 1 core : 0 VCED exceptions : not available VCEI exceptions : not available I'm willing to beta test if requested. |
