My company has tested the vpn product and will be purchasing the Professional version next month, We currently have an ssl vpn that whenm we connect it maps some network drives for us automatically.

Any procedure to allow drives to automatically be added to my computer when connected would be a tremendous help, if the drive mapping could be stored centrally even better.

Hi ralfonzetti,

On OS level, you can easily create the mapped drives. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_qp74VU5ao)

So you can setup once, then whenever VPN is on, the mapped dirves will work automatically.

Thanks,

Revisiting this since I saw an IOS client was available... I tested the software again and all is well except there should be a metod to map drives more intelligently than haveing a windows mapping.

IE: batch script running via the gui.

My use case is as follows: i currently have an SSL VPN you can go into the gui click a button and edit a runtime batch file which will allow you to issue net use and other commands that can run on startup of the vpn client.

This feature would be the most helpful since I have location based drive mappings if my users are on the VPN i want 1 set of mapped drives in the office or at a branch office another set of mapped drives.

Hi ralfonzetti,

Since you mentioned about running script from NR client, I wonder if you tried the AddOn feature of NR client. Basically you can define your own addons, that can be a script or application. When NR client starts or a user signs in, it will load the addons and run is as either a standalone app or service.

In your case, you can define an addon with a batch command or batch file and configure it run as service or run when NR client starts.

In the NR client v2.x, you can also run any script when the NR virtual network gets started or stopped.

Let us know I misunderstood your requirements.

Thanks,
