| Post subject: | Can Clients "Fall asleep"? |
My work computer can see the VPN. However, when I try to connect to my server computer (on different network) or ping it, it acts as if asleep (no response, request times out). I have to force the work computer to disconnect and reconnect to "wake up" the connection. This doesn't happen on any other client. A suggested fix would be helpful. |

hi tachycore, Thank you for reporting the issue. Can you help provide the following info: - the OS of your NR server - the OS of your work computer - the network/Gateway/NAT type of your work - after how long did you notice the work computer is disconnected? like an hour, a day or a week? - is the work computer running the latest nrclient (0.9.7)? can you keep ping-ing ("ping <ip> -t") the work computer and see if ping stops? |

hi tachycore, We had fixed a similar bug in the new 0.9.8 release. If one of your computers is Linux, it's very likely the bug had been fixed. Please upgrade and let us know how it goes. Thanks, |
