Hello,

I am new in my implementation of NeoRouter, so please forgive me if I just am missing something in trying to get WOL to work. Based on all the steps I have taken thus far, I believe the problem is in NeoRouter, and not in Windows settings or BIOS settings. I hope you can shed some light on this and help.

My setup: I have NR Server (Build 1438?) installed on my Tomato router, and NR Clients on 3 computers (1 Linux 1528 and 2 Windows 7 1528). Everything is working great except for the WOL capability on the Windows computers (I have not tried this on the Linux computer). I have verified that WOL is enabled in both the BIOS and the network card settings under Windows. Further, I have actually tested the WOL by putting one of the Windows computers to sleep, and then going to the Tomato Router control panel where there is a WOL screen. In that screen, I can select the Windows computer by it's MAC address, and click on it to wake it up. When I do this, the computer wakes up instantly, as I would expect. However, when I select the WOL icon in NeoRouter Network Explorer, neither Windows computer will wake up. So, I know the router can wake the machines because I can actually do this from the router config panel, but when I do it from NeoRouter, the machines will not wake.

Please help. What am I doing wrong, or is there an issue with the Tomato version of NeoRouter where WOL does not work? Is there additional configuration required?

Thanks.
