Hi, I just tried installing the newest version of NeoRouter and followed the installation instructions for Client version on Windows XP Pro. But when I try to sign onto a network, it hangs on "Connecting to NeoRouter Client" and doesn't progress from there. I'm not sure what to do to fix this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi cobaph,

Please double-check if the NeoRouter service is running.

Run the services.msc, look for the "NeoRouter Client Service". If it's not running, run it.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Ah thank you for a direction.

I've checked and there is no such service running. How can I get it to run?

Choose the NeoRouter client service in services.msc, click on the "Start" button.

Thanks,

Thanks again for replying.

NeoRouter Client Service isn't listed in services for me to start.

Seems you didn't install NeoRouter client properly. Please uninstall it and re-install again.

Thanks,

Ah, thank you. After a few attempts of re-installations, it still showed no sign of starting the service.

But eventually, I tried disabling my anti-virus and it worked.
