This is what telnet localhost 32976 gives me Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying fe80::1... telnet: connect to address fe80::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. ps aux|grep nrservice gives me 1031 0.0 0.0 2435036 492 s000 R+ 6:30PM 0:00.00 grep nrservice For the telnet local thing, I don't know why the connection is refused, the router has the port open. Can you please try to help me? I have been trying to get this to work for almost a week now. |

hi fadedsoulz, Do you have firewall enabled on your Mac? If so, please allow incoming connections for /Library/NeoRouter/nrserver and /Library/NeoRouter/nrservice. You can find more detailed instructions here: http://davidtse916.wordpress.com/2008/0 ... 5-leopard/. |

Seems the NeoRouter client service is not running on your Mac, while server is working well. Please double-check the client service, then you can log on with the local ip address. How do I get nrservice running? It says /Library/NeoRouter/nrservice failed to start due to error -2139029502. logout with --help it says Usage: /Library/NeoRouter/nrservice [-dbroot DBROOT] [--help] -dbroot: specify a writable path to store user data. Am I supposed to specify a path? and if so how? |

please su before running nrservice directly. The error code -2139029502(0x80810002) means nrservice cannot open configuration files. nrservice normally should start automatically as a daemon. Can you check whether "/Library/LaunchDaemons/nrservice.plist" exists and has correct permission. Does "launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/nrservice.plist" command give you any error message? |

Just rebooted my computer. Activity monitor shows nrservice and nrserver running. nrservice.plist exists and the command runs without error messages. NeoRouter clinet is now giving me errors. The login window says SignIn fialed with error 80070039 and a bunch of windows saying Synchronize failed. In activity monitor, nrservice is also using an abnormal amount of system resources,it's using around ~90 percent of the cpu resources. |

I created the log.ini file, but so far no log is being generated. For some reason, NeoRouter Client fails to launch and keeps crashing. nrservice isn't starting anymore. |

Emmm... We need to get the logs in order to debug the issue. Let's try launching nrservice manually "sudo /Library/NeoRouter/nrservice". Also try using client CLI instead of the GUI, CLI (/Library/NeoRouter/nrclientcmd) should be more stable. If Log.ini is placed correctly, log files should be generated as soon as nrservice starts. Can you double-check the file path and the configuration file? Thanks, |
