after some investigation, on my laptop (which has ample amounts of ram for linux to allocate to a process), nrserver is using 1984KB of ram.
On the router, with nrserver NOT running, I have 1368kb free, and when I start nrserver AND try to connect, I still have anywhere between 852kb and 790kb free (this is not including memory that is in buffers, which is virtually free if linux chooses to use more of it on a memory starved process...).
I'm thinking memory isn't the issue here (I'm no expert though...).
I seem to have enough free ram, and trying to connect with more than one client at a time does not seem to cut into the ram any more than just having nrserver running.
I'm stumped and annoyed, but that's ok, as I'm thinking I need to be getting into the market for a new router anyway soon.
Sorry if I made your life hell for the last 2 days. I hope they pay you well, your not a bad tech (that's a huge compliment from me btw).
