I'm running on Windows Server 2003 as a network bridge. When the virtual adapter is unbridged (ie standalone) it will autostart just fine. When it is bridge, however, it will not start at all.

I noticed that in standalone mode it disables then enables and finally connects. In bridged mode it never disables and thus never gets to the point of connecting.

I am running the latest version, 1.5.0.

Hi pastorjcox,

This is a correct behavior. Once you created a bridge connection on Windows, NeoRouter Connection won't be enabled, but the NeoRouter device is still working on the background.

Please make sure you enabled NetworkBridge mode and setup properly. For more information, please refer to:
http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... o_site_VPN

If the NeoRouter device is not working, you won't be able to log in to the NeoRouter server. If you really want to determine if the NeoRouter device is working, the log file will help.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

KevinZ,

Thank you for the response. I have followed all of the steps on that page. I have full connectivity through the bridge until the system reboots. Once it reboots I can not connect to anything through the NeoRouter connection. I have to go in and remove the neorouter adapter from the bridge, stop and restart the client service, then add it back into the bridge. After that all is well again.

I had the point-to-site bridge setup working on a previous install with 1.3 but had to do a fresh install this past week and upgraded to 1.5 and now I am having these problems.

- Jeff

Hi pastorjcox,

Actually there is nothing change to the modules related to the network bridge and NeoRouter device. Would you collect the log file of nrservice? Without log file I have no any clue.

Did you try v1.3 see if it is still working?

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
