Also, I am attempting to attach to a NR server on a Windows 2008 64-bit server, and the client just hangs at "Signing in". Windows NR clients are working fine with it.
Suggestions?

Thanks for reporting the issues.
You can ignore the LSB warning, as it does not affect the functionality. nrservice started successfully. We can comply with the standards later.
Can you gather nrservice log and send to support@neorouter.com? It will help us figure out why the connection failed.

I can't find nrservice.log in usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter/
I have only 3 files there: Client.xml and DNSCache.xml (both dated today) and nrclient.README (dated July 29).
Permissions problem? The folder /usr/local/Z.../NeoRouter/ is only accessible by root. Is that correct?
Edit: it appears to be a permissions problem. I am able to attach to the NR network if I execute sudo nrclientcmd.
I can do that, but it's not working as intended.

nrservice should always have write access to /usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter/, as it is running as root:wheel.
if you would like to gather log for nrclientcmd, you can grant yourself the write access of the above folder using chmod command.

I used root to browse for the log file, and it doesn't exist. Maybe it's my Linux install that's the problem, but it appears that nrclientcmd does not have the permissions to write a log file to that directory.
I'll work with sudo nrclientcmd until I get things sorted out. Thanks for your help.
