i have installed the latest NeoRouter Free Server on Mac OS X Lion, and got it up and running. It shows everything is good from Configuration Explorer.

I am able to connect from NR Client at localhost, but then cannot get connected from another mac on the network. I get Socket Is Not Connected.

I rebooted, the server machine, and then was able to connect from the other mac, and now when connecting from the same machine to localhost get the same Socket is Not Connected.

I'm hoping you can give me some direction. I'm very new, and just following the instructions in the documentation for setup, but I think I'm doing everything correctly. I appreciate any help.

Update. I got more clients to connect now. Not sure what changed if anything....but I've got the server with a client running on it, and 3 other clients (2 Mac OS X Lion, one Windows 7). I can ping the machine running the server no issue, but when I try to ping the other 2 I get timeouts.

All machines show online status. I can't connect via putty to the 2 that I can't ping either.

Any help is appreciated.

Well it's always fun to post another issue, and go back to find it's working properly 10 minutes later.
