I installed nrserver on redhat 5.8 through command line. When I tried to run ./nrserver -run, it said *./nrserver failed to start. [DB]attempt to write a readonly database*

how can I specify the db path?

p.s. the firewall has been disabled.

Thank you!

hi thinkman,

NeoRouter stores database and other files under /usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter.
When running "nrserver" command directly, please use root account or "sudo".

Thanks,
Luke

Thank you for your help.

After I started the server, I add a user, but failed to connect to server with that account information. [hr=0x8007274c]
How can I access that? Thanks a lot!

hi thinkman,

Error 0x8007274c means WSAETIMEDOUT (10060) Connection timed out. Please check the connection between client and server computers.
We also have a troubleshooting guide in User's Manual section 7.1 (http://www.neorouter.com/Documents.html). It may be helpful to you as well.

Thanks,
Luke

Thank you. I noticed that there is a HTML5 version for configuration in v1.7.0, is there some documentation about that?

hi thinkman,

We do not have a document for HTML5 configuration explorer. It should function just like the Configuration Explorer for Windows.
Let me know if you have more specific questions regarding the HTML5 webapp.

Thanks,
Luke

I got the url, https://secure.neorouter.com/webapp/1.7 ... webclient/

I thought it is a script which can be customized.

hi thinkman,

The URL for NeoRouter Configuration Explorer HTML5 App is https://secure.neorouter.com/webapp/1.7 ... ebconsole/. It provides similar functionality as the Configuration Explorer for Windows. Now you can perform the same administrative tasks using a browser on Mac and Linux as well.

Thanks,
Luke
