Hi samoilis, If you use NR Pro, please verify the ACL settings, that controls the permission to the services for each user on a computer. If you use NR Free, no ACL settings at all, but need to sign in at least once to register a new computer to the NR server, before connecting to other NR clients. Thanks, KevinZ -NeoRouter team |

I've NR Pro and I'm not talking about a new computer. This senario is a server to server connention ultimately the question is: computer A can have access to computer B without running the Neorouter Explorer? (after previous registration and succeful login to server with right ACL settings) because after a server restart (and on this server run some network services) the connections to other servers is not feasible () |

Hi samoilis, Would you verify if the NR client connects to the NR server? Does it connects to the NR server in minutes after the computer restarted or never connects to the NR server anymore? If it won't connect to the NR server, please enable the logging, collect the log files of the nrservice and send to us, so that we can help investigate. Sometimes it may takes couple of minutes to establish the connection to the NR server and create the VPN tunnels to other peers. Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |

in my case the machine (Win2k3) with NR Client, before login to desktop, connect successfully to NR Server and other NR Clients have full access on it, but he does not have access to other NR Clients to see what you must have a network service on this machine which final cannot access to other NR Clients before execute NR Explorer maybe this behaviour is by design thanks in advance |

Hi samoilis, Would you provide a log file of the nrservice.exe if you can repro the issue? The log will be very helpful for us to figure out the root cause. Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |

I'm a little confused about this behavior as well. On a Windows Server that has NeoRouter client installed, the service has no user context until the Network Explorer runs and talks to the server, right? I'm needing to have the Windows Server's NR Client join the network and be accessible prior to login. Possible? |

Hi jordan, After installing NR client on a new computer, you may want to sign in to the NR server at least once to register the computer. Once a computer registered, the connection between other peers are established and the resources can be controlled by NR built-in ACL/firewall. There are several ways to register a computer to NR server: 1. You can run Network Explorer and sign in manually OR 2.Run nrclientcmd - the command line tool to sign in OR 3.Run nrclientcmd with -register command Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |
