 Post subject: neorouter client+debian

hi I want to run neorouter client on my debian PC.
I use nrclientcmd -d 1.1.1.1 -u timon -p pass -register to connect to my neorouter server. The connection is established but i can't ping others computer. ifconfig output:

How i can connect to remote servers?(for example how ping them)

Hi timon,

Thanks for contacting us.

Can you try ping from other machine to your debian PC see if it work? If the connection to the NR server is established, the NR VPN tunnel is working. The issue would most likely happen in the settings, firewalls.

1. If you use NR Pro and setup ACL/built-in firewall, please verify it, because
a. you use -register command, it simply registers the device to the NR server, but not sign in as the user. If you setup ACL to block the "everyone", then the packets sent from this computer would be dropped.
Try to run the nrclientcmd without -register option, see if you can see the computer list. Keep the nrclientcmd running, open another term to try ping.

2. Please try arping see if it work.

3. If your debian PC connected to the NR server properly and you said your iptables is turned off, you should be able to ping it from other NR client machine.

Let us know if you still have problem.
