My Setup For my testing purpose on the same physical LAN with Internet connection. Raspbian - NR Server 2.1.0 Win7 64bit, Bitdefender (BD) Firewall - ONLY NR Client 2.1.0 / NO NR Server installed On Win7 with BD firewall enabled, whenever I try to log in using NR Client to NR Server (on Raspbian) it always cause Win7 to hang; and I have to do a power restart. However if I disable BD firewall first and then log in using NR Client to NR Server (Raspbian) it is ok. It is also ok if subsequently I re-enable BD firewall. Appreciate if you could point me to the fix. Thank you. |

Further observation: Bitdefender 2010, 2011, 2012 firewall have problem with NRClient when trying to connect. With BD 2010, disable firewall before NRClient connects is ok, re-enabling firewall after connection is ok. if NRClient tries to connect without disabling BD firewall, Win7 will freeze. With BD 2011 and 2012, NRClient can connect successfully without disabling BD firewall. However, you can't putty or ping another computer in NR list without disabling BD firewall. Have set Neorouter network adapter to Full Trust. We do not have these problems with Hamachi or OpenVPN connections. So just a thought is this VPN issue with Neorouter a Bitdefender problem or NR problem? Can someone enlighten us? |
