Hi najah,

I cannot repro your issue in our lab. It works out of box on my clean opensuse 11.2.

I downloaded the image openSUSE-11.2-DVD-x86_64.iso from opensuse website and installed it with the default options. I didn't do upgrade or something special.

Then I log on as root and download the package from NeoRouter download site. I install the nrclient package using the GUI tool directly. After installation, open the terminal and run nrclientcmd to log on to the server to register the new box.

It does complain about the "no version info", but it's just a warning and works well. I didn't create the symbol link like I told you before, as it works.

Here is the log I copied from the terminal.

Can you test it on a clean box?

thank you so much for the effort and time that you do spend for me.

what i want to do exactely with neorouter is to make a linux neorouter-serveur with windows clients.

all the results for your lust message where the same for me exept for the hardware and the ifconfig result:
in fact, i have the service running and the norouter to
but with ifconfig i cant find nrtap for the server.

when i put: nrserver -run
i got the last fault that i did send for you: segmentaion fault.

perhaps i am messing something, i dont know.
please help :|

Hi najah,

In my last test, I installed NRClient package instead of the NRServer, that's why I have the nrtap. I just tested the NRServer and it works too.

Please remove the symbol links /lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8g and /lib/ libssl.so.0.9.8g if you created as I suggested previously. NeoRouter v1.0 can run on the opensuse 11.2 64-bit without any change to the OS.

Another difference is you use opensuse 11.3, which is not the public release. (check out http://en.opensuse.org/Roadmap) The latest public release is opensuse 11.2.

Please use the official public release as we didn't test and cannot promise it works on the beta version of opensuse.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
