Good job! stefancho,

Would you update the NRClient.ResourceBg.xml and NRConsole.ResourceBg.xml on the Wiki :

http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... tilanguage

with your latest version? So that every one know it's from you. You can simply register a wiki user, go to the pages:

http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... ResourceBg

and

http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... ResourceBg

to replace the original version.

I'll upload your files to the website soon.

Let me know if need help.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Hello,

I'm trying to translate NeoRouter in french.
I have copy-pasted the 2 xml files (NRClient.ResourceFr.xml & NRConsole.ResourceFr.xml from NeoRouter wiki in EDIT mode ;))
I copied them into my \Translation Folder
I noticed a first problem: i couldn't select 'French' in the language menu
I looked at the files header:
- The version section (in the 3rd line) was missing (to be correctly recognized by NeoRouter), here is the original line (from wiki EDIT mode):

<resource CompactMode="1" Language="French (France)" LANGID="1036">

so i modified it:

<resource CompactMode="1" Language="French (France)" LANGID="1036" version="0.9.10.1650">

Now i can select 'French' in the language menu but when i modified one of the files to start my translation and test it, i have a error pop-up message: "An unsupported operation was attempted" when i try to disconnect and reconnect. This error pops up several times but when it's gone, i can see my menu items translated in french.

Can somebody help, please ? :)
many thanks

Hi lexx_fr,

Please get the English resource files for v0.9.10 from http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... tilanguage
( Published language resource files -> NeoRouter v0.9.10 -> English ) and modify them for now, as we haven't update the pages under the section "Resource file list" yet. Those old resource files may cause errors in your applications (v0.9.10+).

Sorry for the inconvenience, we will update them soon.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Hello,

My french resource files for NeoRouter Free version (Network & Configuration Explorer) will be soon completed... ;)
I only translated strings for the Free version  (those i can see for checking only)
I'll upload them as soon as possible...

Anyway, i have a question about the server language configuration:

- When you ONLY install the server part (Not Network Explorer) is it possible to add language resource files for the Configuration Explorer ?

Many thanks

Hi lexx_fr,

Thanks for your hard work!

Yes. Once the resource files are put in the proper location, the Configuration and Network explorers will use them, no matter which option you install or you copy them over to any other computers.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Hi, KevinZ,

I copied my french resource files (successfully tested on another pc with Network and Configuration Explorer installed) to my NeoRouter server \Translation folder but as i didn't install the Network Explorer on my server (server installation only), i can't choose any language because language is only selectable by Network Explorer 'Language' menu. So english is selected by default...

Any idea ? Thanks

Edit:
I just found a solution: I copied 'NRClient.exe' to my server (and ran it just to change language setting), then deleted 'NRClient.exe'. Now, my server uses my resource files

Hi,

I thought it would be a good idea to include all available language files in the installer package so users could directly choose their language after installation.
