Hi! I'm using NeoRouter client on a headless Ubuntu 9.04 server. Everything works fine but how do I make sure the client comes up after a reboot. It survives a reboot as it is now. Is that by default? I havent done anything to make it autostart and login automatic after a reboot. Kind Regards /Bernt |

Thanks, great to hear. I hope this is the Hamachi replacement I've been looking for. Looks very nice so far. |

I think I messed up things. I'm no longer able to log on to the client or Network Configuration with my linux server account. NeoRouter Server is installed on a headless Ubuntu 9.04. The client is running on the same machine. I have succesfully configured the server from a Windows pc with Network Configuration. I only have one account i NeoRouter and that is my linux account. I can login to the console using ssh. Then trying to login to the NeoRouter Network Explorer from the CLI console I got "The system could not sign you in. Make sure your username and password are correct. (0X80820105)" The last time i managed to login to the Network Configuration tool the only change I did was adding my full name to the account. I did not change password or login name. Is there a way to reset the password? It should be the same as my linux account. Kind Regards /Bernt |

If you cannot use the Configuration Explorer to log on to the server, you can reset the database. 0. Stop the nrserver 1. Backup your original files under the folder: /usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter 2. Delete the database file (*.db) in the folder (above) Note: do not delete other certificates files 3. Start the nrserver (it will create a clean database for you) 4. You can use the Configuration Explorer to log on with your Linux account. Let us know if you still have problem. Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |
