 Post subject: unable to run client on debian 5

nrservice will not start, each time i run restart, same results:

[root@coruscant ~]# /etc/init.d/nrservice.sh restart
Stopping NeoRouter client service: nrserviceNo /usr/bin/nrservice found running; none killed.
.
Starting NeoRouter client service: nrservice.
[root@coruscant ~]#

tried to run /usr/bin/nrservice manually, got this:

Would you help collect the log on Debian? We didn't test on any Debian version yet, but will.

Hi R-TypeEman,

I tested on a Debian 5.0.3 (x86). I installed the NRClient on it and it works well.

I uses the network ISO. After installed the brand new machine, I just run the following commands to update packages and setup ssh. Then installed the nrclient. When installing, I choose the default option (desktop)

Code:
# apt-get update
# apt-get install ssh


I wonder if your system is missing some packages. If you can give more details on your system, it would be very helpful.
