This is wonderful!
I tried editing menu_lin.def to add this: Remote Desktop = tsclient /v:%NRIPAddress%
It brings up the tsclient, but not the proper address. Is there another variable which I can use?
Thanks so much for this GUI
Larry

hi, drfox,

I have not tried tsclient on linux. But according to the man page (http://linux.die.net/man/1/tsclient), '/v' option has a different meaning than in Windows.

A possible solution is to create several configuration files with ip address as the file name. Then add "Remote Desktop = tsclient -x %NRIPAddress%" to menu_lin.def.

Besides ip address, you can also use computer name, group, or OS-type (see objComputer class in CLIWrapper.py). You will need to modify BuddyList.py MenuSelectionCb function to add other variables.

Thanks,

Hi, i'm using openSUSE 11.2, I have install everything but that needs to run NRclientX but there is some problems:
-when i run python /usr/bin/PyNRClientX.py the NRClientX appears, and the terminal says:
nrclientcmd: /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by nrclientcmd)
nrclientcmd: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8: no version information available (required by nrclientcmd)
====Print all====
Title:

on the machine is installed /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 and /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8

i click sign in, enter the username/password/domain but nothing happens and after a while I get an error: Error occured while running CLI

Thank you for your time

I'd like to be able to logon with just my password. It looks as though I could edit one of the files and put in my domain and username. Can you tell me which file and which lines to edit?
Thanks, Larry

Keep on the good work.
I hope that you could integrate the settings program in this.

Does NeoRouter have any plans to release some API/SDK so users can create their own client (GUI or CLI) apps?

I read source code of nrclientx and apparently it starts nrclientcmd and parses the output, it works but is not quite efficient. If NeoRouter has SDK/API released I can imagine there will be many 3rd party clients around.

Hi ElTopo,

Thanks for your suggestion. We will consider the idea about API/SDK for some users or software vendors to integrate NeoRouter into their applications.

Thanks,

Hi notech,

thanks for the suggestion.
We will support Linux GUI. However it is currently one of our mid-term goals that we plan to address in the next 6 months or so. At the meantime, please use the python client tigerx has provided.

Thanks,
