I have a NetGear ReadyNas NAS which is running debian. I've downloaded and executed the 32-bit nrclient package for linux. I got the error that it isn't x86, it's Sparc. I tried to dpkg -i --force-all, and although it echoed that the package installed, the top command showed that nrservice wasn't running, and invoking nrservice and nrclientcmd gave me a binary error. I tried with the wrt and fon packages, too...no joy. Is there a way to install nrclient on a sparc-based system? I'm having no luck at all mounting the NAS on my ASUS router.

Hi drfox,

You cannot install NR packages (for x86/x64) on a sparc machine. It should work on your ASUS router with either samba or proxy solutions if you can setup properly.

Thanks,
