hi Sharonbar,

You can run "/usr/bin/nrclientcmd" from terminal to launch NeoRouter Network Explorer client.
NeoRouter server should start automatically as a daemon. But in case you need to run it manually or configure your NR domain, you can use command "/usr/bin/nrserver".
Please see the following sections in the User's Manual for more information:
- 2.2.4 Install NeoRouter Server on Linux
- 2.3.3 Install NeoRouter Client on Linux
- 3.7 Network Explorer CLI
- 4.7 Server Configuration CLI

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks,

thanks for the answer!
but still no luck :(

i've added the port 32975 to my firewall and tried to load the program with these 2 commands and this is the ouput i get:

[root@fedora ~]# /usr/bin/nrclientcmd
-bash: /usr/bin/nrclientcmd: No such file or directory
[root@fedora ~]# /usr/bin/nrserver
NeoRouter Free [Version 1.1.1.1950]
Copyright (C) 2010 NeoRouter Inc.

/usr/bin/nrserver failed to start due to error -2147024798.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

NeoRouter for Linux has two packages, it seems you only installed server package, not the client.

You need to sudo before running nrserver manually. I will file a bug to provide better error message when user does not su.

nrserver listens at port 32976 by default. Have you changed it to 32975? If you need to change to a custom port, we recommend a port number lower than 32970. We reserve a few ports for future uses.
