I've been trying neorouter for a while since also available on osx.
After a recent update neorouter would not start and always give an error.
So installed the most recent version and this time it would start.
But, I always had a problem, and still have it now: when an offline client connects to the neorouter network, my client crashes.
If I connect to the network while others are online, the other clients crash.
This happens at least on all mac clients.
Not sure of the windows one.

For now, I had to unistall neorouter and am trying the hamachi2 beta for mac.

Anyway, keep up the good work,
I will try neorouter in future versions hoping this problem will be fixed.

Thanks for reporting the issues.
By client, do you mean the GUI application available in NR Free Edition? Do you know whether the virtual network is disconnected (can you still connect to peer computers) after the crash? If you are comfortable with command line, can you try the CLI client (/Library/NeoRouter/nrclientcmd)?
We will try to reproduce the issue in our lab and work on a fix.
