Hi all,

I apologize if this has been answered. I wasn't able to find a similar problem in the forum.

I'm doing a new install on a Amazon EC2 Ubuntu 10.04 LTS instance. I downloaded and installed nrserver-1.1.4.2330-free-ubuntu-i386.deb without problems. It appears to have launched the deamon properly.

However, when I try to use the /usr/bin/nrserver executable to setup things, it just keeps spitting out the help.

I'm trying things like

/usr/bin/nrserver -showusers
/usr/bin/nrserver -showsettings

and it just spits out the entire usage each time, with no additional info.

I must be missing something simple. Thanks in advance!

Hi mossman,

Please run the command using "sudo" or as root user.

Thanks,
