hi!
i hope someone can answer my problem. sorry for my english
we like to play some games like enemy territory, battlefield, etc. with a friend. i created a domain, and two accounts with neorouter configuration explorer (free version)an administrator for me, and a user acc for the friend with the macintosh. i have windows 7 X64 professional on my pc, on the other side the operating system is MacOSX snow leopard 10.6.5. Client softwares are installed on the machines and the connections working, both machines can connect to my domain. but sadly i can't see the mac's shared folders, and vice versa. (we are not in the same place so not using the same internet connection, just to stay clear). of course the lan games not working as well. can't see any lan servers. there are no firewalls on the machines. What is the problem? please help !

best regards, Z

Yes. On Mac, open a terminal and type "ping 10.0.0.1". If you can see the response, it works. If ping works, it means NR VPN tunnel works well. Something wrong with your OS settings.

File sharing and lan game is working now! only in game when i making a new lan game the other computer (10.0.0.2) cannot see my server and need to type my ip 10.0.0.1 to connect. Any ideas to fix this? it's not a big problem though.

thanks,

You may have NetBIOS or SMB enabled on the Mac so that it can look for the computer name of your PC, or it trades it as an Internet domain name. But it's out of topics of NR.

You may want to check firewall settings. Windows firewall usually allows connections like this, however you may have to go into your Homegroup settings and turn off the Homegroup key requirement in your Windows. I had Symantec and the firewall blocked many different aspects of my home network.
