Post subject: | Best Router for NeoRouter Client. |
Hello I have to install NeoRouter client in router box. What is the best router to install client only? I have tried TL-WR1043ND, It has 8MB flash but it seems to be not supported . Then I have tried WRT-54GL but it has only 4MB flash so installation failed. Could you help me to choose correct router for Neorouter Client installation? |

Hi Unky, ASUS WL-500gP seems working well with me. I've been using ASUS WL-500gP as a proxy server (NR client + tinyproxy). Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |

hi unky, please try edit /etc/opkg.conf and add the following lines. This will allow opkg to accept mipsel architecture packages. Code: arch all 1 arch mipsel 200 arch brcm47xx 10 See this post for more information:https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=24564 Thanks, Luke |

Hi unky, NeoRouter supports Backfire brcm-2.4 image, but 2.6 kernel. While installing, you can simply install from our website directly: #opkg install http://download.neorouter.com/Downloads ... mipsel.ipk This can save some memory for opkg while installing. I'm using the official release downloaded from http://downloads.openwrt.org/backfire/1 ... /brcm-2.4/ BusyBox v1.15.3 (2010-11-11 23:25:22 PST) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands. _______ ________ __ | |.-----.-----.-----.| | | |.----.| |_ | - || _ | -__| || | | || _|| _| |_______|| __|_____|__|__||________||__| |____| |__| W I R E L E S S F R E E D O M Backfire (10.03.1-rc4, r24045) -------------------- * 1/3 shot Kahlua In a shot glass, layer Kahlua * 1/3 shot Bailey's on the bottom, then Bailey's, * 1/3 shot Vodka then Vodka. --------------------------------------------------- root@OpenWrt:~# opkg list|grep nrclient nrclient - 1.4-0.2620 Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team |
