Ok. installed the official release, and it makes no difference... here is one of the log files generated.

hi tiernano, error -2147024894 = 0x80070002. error codes like 0x800700?? are system errors and you can look it up in errno.h. so the error you see is ENOENT 2 - No such file or directory. According to document, socket APIs like connect may return this error code. hi tiernano Thanks for the log. It appears that '/dev/tap0' does not exist. Could you double check the device and permissions? Could you try to reinstall the tap driver package? Thanks, Luke |

Ahhh! That fixed it! which is odd, given i did nothing to the machine to remove the TAP driver... Cool beans man. thanks! |
