Neorouter client - openwrt

Hello there,

I'm trying to install neorouter on OpenWrt Backfire 10.03.
Router is: TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND

Code:

# opkg update

 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package nrclient.

Any ideas?

hi eduardosilva,

Please make sure the router is mipsel. Then use the following command to allow ipkg to accept all architectures.

Code:

arch all 1

For what I can see, my architecture is mips, I wonder if this is compatible with neorouter's build.

mixing mipsel ipk with mips cpu/os won't work. sorry.

Hi Luke,
Any chance of having a mips version of neorouter?
I have 2 of those routers, and I would like to add those to my private network. ( i would like to avoid using openvpn just for those 2 routers).

Btw, tp-link 1043nd, is a very nice router for openwrt, cost effective and you can find it easily in the market.
