Hi,

I was unable to install the 64bit client on my Linux box. I got a message: "wrong architecture. AMD64".

I did install the 32bit client and that works well.

But I'm curious about the restriction on the 64bit version. Is there a "generic" 64bit client?

Thanks,

EE

Hi EE,

Which distribution / version of Linux are you using?

Thanks,
Luke

AMD64 (x86_64) is the architecture which is also used by intel for x86 compatible 64bit processors.
Maybe you have an Itanium one (so called x64)?
