So, I've successfully installed a NR free on two computers in my home network and one outside, all on Ubuntu 12.04. One of the computers in my home network acts as both client and server, the others as clients, naturally ;)
I've opened 32976 in my pfsense firewall forwarding traffic to the server.

Next step is to configure this setup so that my combined server/client acts as a bridge to my home-network (nas and printer). I've used page 47 in the NR user manual (http://download.neorouter.com/Documents ... l_15en.pdf) as reference, with one exception: The server is inside the firewall and is actually on the same box as the client. But I cannot for my bare life get this working, so my question is:

Is having the NR server and client on the same box a showstopper when it comes to bridging?

Thankful for comments - and thanks for an awesome software!

HI rkleivel,

It should be fine that both NR server and client running on a same box and NR client is running as a bridge, if you can configure it properly.

Thanks,
