We have been using TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND for development/test purpose and it should meet your requirements.
You can find more devices at OpenWrt website: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start. Look for devices with target type brcm47xx or ar71xx. We require 4MB of flash and highly recommend 8MB for extensibility.

I was just curious when the foaming at the mouth consumers could take a peek at version of in-a-box for the Atheros routers on the Professional side?
