Post subject:  How connect to ANDROID Phone from a PC
Hi everyone,

I search since a long time if it's possible to connect to the android phone from a computer ?

When i connect the androphone with NEOROUTER, i see in the NR configuration explorer a new computer called localhost with the IP 10.0.0.4. I can ping the adresse but it's the only thing i can do. I'm sure that this it the phone because when i shutdown the phone the ping stop.

I never see the androphone in the NR Network Explorer.

Hi surfreg,

You cannot connect to Android phone from other NR clients.

NR for Android is working as a portable client, which temporarily registers to the NR server but it does not provide any service. It works just like NR client portable version. You can ping it, but you cannot run any service from it and you cannot see it in NR network explorer.

In the future, we may extend its feature to provide service.

Hi surfreg,

Once Android SDK provides the APIs allowing us to access the tun device, we can do the full feature NR client on it.
