Strange issue with two fedora 18 Boxes

Hi,
I have a small network and am having issues on a couple of the boxes. I switched my nrserver form my fedora i386 to one of the fedora X64 boxes today. Since then I have been unable to connect from my fedora 18 X64 Boxes, the rest of the net switched over fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled nrclient on both the X64 boxes and rebooted. Nothing has worked.

1 X Ubuntu 12.04 i386
1 X Fedora 18 i386
2 X Fedora 18 X64
1 X Win7Pro X64
2 X Win7Home X64
1 X Ubuntu 12.10 X64

On the two boxes that will not connect I get identical responses:

#cat /dev/net/tun
cat: /dev/net/tun: File descriptor in bad state

#ifconfig
does not list an nrtap device

#nrclientcmd
hangs at Connecting to NeoRouter Client Service.

Hi greatbotboy, Based on your log file, I can see the error code hr=0x80820102, that means "computer not found" on the server side. There would be various reasons, for example: you deleted the main config folder when remove the package and it lost the Client.xml file; or the network adapter got changed; or you failed to sign in to the server and so on. Please try to run nrclientcmd and sign in to the server, then should be fine. Make sure your NR user credential is valid and make sure sign in successfully. Btw, to re-install NR client completely, you may wan to remove the folder /usr/local/Zebranetwork.... folder to clean up some setting files first. Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Thanks for your response Kevin! I have again uninstalled nrclient, deleted the relevant config files and reinstalled. when I run nrclientcmd I still get stuck at "Connecting to NeoRouter Client Service." I have checked my Creds they are good. I still can not connect.

HI greatbotboy Please check if NR client service is running. ps aux\|grep nrservice If it's not running, please run /etc/init.d/nrservice.sh start Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Hi greatbotboy, Ok. Let's try to re-install it, please follow the steps below: 1.Go to your client box, stop the NR client service sudo /etc/init.d/nrservice.sh stop Use ps command to check and make sure the nrservice process has gone. 2. Remove the NR client package from your box 3. Remove the folder /usr/local/Zebranetwork.... 4. Run NR Web Console or go to a Windows machine run NR Configuration Explorer , in the computer list, delete the linux box. 5. Re-install NR client package on your linux box and run nrclientcmd to sign in. Btw, before reinstall, please try to run telnet [your server public IP] [port] see if you can connect to your NR server. This test make sure the physical connection is not blocked by firewall or something. Let us know if you still have problem. Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team

S 15:42 0:00 /bin/bash -c ulimit -S -c 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 ; /usr/bin/nrservice However nrtap is not listed in ifconfig and nrclientcmd still hangs at connecting.
