I recently installed Neorouter for testing and answer a,its a great software but i got a problem with the license on free edition.

License status: 29 day(s) left

As you can see i have the same problem that the topic here : viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5247

But the problem it is that for many reason (proxy /security) i can't let the server connect to internet.

Because i only use it on an LAN-only to connect few computer between them, .

If i let Neorouter server without connect to internet what gonna happen when days limit pass ? Does the vpn still gonna work ?

Hi 7vil4,

NR Free requires Internet access, or it will be expired in 30 days. Then you cannot sign in to the server anymore.

But if you completely uninstall the server and delete the database and reinstall the server , you will get another 30 days.

If the server has Internet access, the license will never expire.

Btw without Internet access, you may not be able to use the NeoRouter domain feature and have to use the IP address to sign in.

Does it need one-time activation on internet or still connected to internet?

For NR Free, all the time.

For NR Pro, once activated the NR server can be running without Internet access.

My server is connected to the internet and running well ( i connect from clients),
and yet i have been receiving X days left Notifications...

Hi eldadh,

Please make sure you can access the Dashboard site from that server machine and double check the md5sum value of your server package.

i have re-installed it as stated and checked it in the dashbaord.
its is connected and working well ( clients are connected) .
still i have a X days left .

more over i have just lost two days...
